On 4 December, CEPA StratCom presented a lecture on the future of Kremlin disinformation in Latvia. The event was held at Stradins University in Riga and moderated by Adjunct Fellow Mārtiņš Kaprāns.
The discussion considered the evolution and future of Kremlin propaganda targeting Latvia, highlighting both persistent narratives as well as notable ad hoc disinformation cases. Kaprāns dissected the broader geopolitical goals driving the Kremlin’s disinformation machine through the use of survey data illustrating the possible impact of Kremlin narratives on the Latvian society. Stradins University participants expressed a keen interest in building a higher level of societal media literacy in order to see through the information fog of the disinformation age.
